August 17,18,19, 2002: Urabon Festival (the Annual Ancestral Memorial Service) * Several thousands followers gather and recite the Holy Sutra to offer their gratitude to God and their ancestral spirits for the guidance, protection and love. This is one of the most important events in Uji Temple where we feel spiritual upliftment together with our ancestors. |
